Facility: MARYFIELD CLINIC
Job Description: In collaboration with the Regional Health Authority, the primary health and the physician (s), the Nurse Practitioner will provide primary health care services to the residents of the community. This includes: health promotions and protection; disease and injury prevention; chronic disease management  and prevention; provision if supportive, instructive, treatment and emergency services; collaboration with and referral to other health care professionals; conducting community needs assessments and participating evaluation projects. The Primary Health Nurse RN/(NP) reports to the Regional Director of Primary Health.

Required Qualifications

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Registered Nurse - Nurse Practitioner Masters Program
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Experience
Minimum of three (3) years experience working as a Registered Nurse, with experience as RN (NP) in a Primary Health Care setting preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position
Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships and communication with other health care professionals
Ability to make decisions, which must include coordination of staffing, and/or patient care, and/or coordination of equipment
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice
Computer skills in such programs as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
