Southwest Day Care & Early Learning Centre is looking to fill the Supervisor position.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Work as the assistant to the Executive Director and Assistant Director in carrying out procedures related to the maintenance of the Centre
- Assist Executive Director and Assistant Director in preparing the physical environment and maintaining order of the Centre
- Work with the Executive Director, Assistant Director, Employees, Parents, Board of Directors, and Outside Community Members in a cooperative manner.
- Maintain accurate, up to date records on each staff member, child, and Centre operations
- Attend Staff Meetings as requested
- Be flexible in duties and able to cover where needed, including a variety of shifts between opening hours.
- Be able to supervise 10-15 Employees
- Supervise program activities and general duties of the Early Childhood Educators
- Ensure all employees understand their duties and responsibilities, as well as the philosophy and objectives of the Centre
- Ensure that program activities are planned, carried out, and follow the Saskatchewan Play & Exploration Curriculum
- Ensure all staff members are doing their part in maintaining a clean, attractive, and safe facility to meet the standards set out in the Saskatchewan Childcare Regulations
- Ensure that the Saskatchewan Childcare Regulations are being adhered to at all times
***Preference will be given to those who have previous experience in supervising***
