Description

Kumon is the world's most successful after-school math and reading enrichment program. We strive to build math and reading foundation for students to become successful and confident in school and in life.
Saskatoon Evergreen Kumon Centre is looking for a positive, encouraging, reliable and hardworking assistant/grader who can help with various tasks around the Kumon centre and work with young children. We provide training and opportunities for growth. This position is part-time position and required to work evenings and on the weekend. Saskatoon Evergreen Kumon centre's class hours are Tuesday to Friday (3:30 pm  7:00 pm).  

Education and Experience:
The applicant must possess strong high school math and reading skills, preferably grade 11 and 12 students and university students. Past Kumon students or work experience in Kumon is an asset.

Role and Responsibilities:
    Grading and documenting Kumon Math and Reading worksheets accurately and quickly.
    Working closely with Early Learners (ages 3-7) and new students (primary instruction) as they learn the Kumon method and follow our centre routines
    Front desk administrative duties such as student check-in and check-out and handling parent inquiries during class sessions
    Clerical duties such as data entry, student folder preparation, communications (e-mail, phone).
    Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate enthusiasm
    Ensure that the student have the correct materials to take home until their next scheduled return to class
     Do other activities as required to have students achieve their objectives.
