Express Employment Professionals is seeking a warehouse associate for a top client of ours in the industrial valves industry. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment, excellent problem solving skills and a great work ethic.

Job Duties:

-Various tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication and transportation of goods.

-Managing inventory at sites across Saskatchewan. Will involve driving to various sites 1-2 times a week in company vehicle. May require overtime hours (no overnight).

-Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area.

-Stack or pile materials.

-Install protective devices to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.

-Verify physical count of stock and compare to computations.

-Interacting with installers and subcontractors to receive/fill orders, sell supplies, materials and products.

-Maintaining a safe and clean work area.

-Following company safety policies and encouraging other associates to do the same.

-Driving company truck to pick up or deliver stock or materials to designated locations.

-Operate forklift or other machinery to complete tasks.

-Other duties as required.

Job Requirements:

-Knowledge of machines and tools.

-Forklift experience.

-At least 1-2 years experience in a similar capacity.

-Problem solving skills, ability to select correct processes from prescribed rules, best practices or instruction.

-Ability to seek advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from a supervisor.

-Able to work under close supervision and open to constructive criticism.

-Good physical condition, with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly. Standing for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes.

-Ability to make repetitive movements, ect.

-Valid class 5 drivers license with a clean driver's abstract.
