Under the direction of our new Director, we are seeking enthusiastic, flexible, attentive individuals who will work within a team of Early Childhood Educators to meet the needs of the children through routine, play, meals and developmental opportunities, while maintaining the health and safety of all.
Expectations:
- Ensure the safe work practices, policies and procedures are being followed
- Interact with children safely, appropriately and lovingly
- Provide encouragement and support to all children
- Maintain an orderly and clean environment ensuring the safety of the children at all times
- Help to develop developmentally appropriate programming for children 19 months to 5 years of age which embraces the vision of "Play and Exploration"
- Record and report pertinent information
- Take an active part in training and professional development activities and continuing education
- Be willing to prepare/cook meals and snacks
Qualifications:
- Preference given to ECE certified individuals but will train the right candidate
- A recent (6 months or less) clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check is a requirement
- Valid CPR and First Aid "C" (if not current, willing to update or obtain)
- Food Safe Handling Certificate an asset
