Description

Make an impact with our Consulting - Farm Management team as an Analyst OR Consultant. As a trusted advisor, youll provide comprehensive analysis and strategic guidance that empowers clients to maximize efficiencies, enhance performance and increase profitability to protect the future of their operations. This position will work out of the Swift Current office on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities
- Deliver, or assist in the delivery of, consulting engagements focused on agriculture, agribusiness and other related industry bodies and associations
- Execute business planning, feasibility studies, strategic planning, operational planning, program review, program re-deigns, financial analysis and other forms of management consulting
- Provide industry specific expertise related to factors affecting production, alternative agricultural options, livestock and crop disease control, soil improvement, animal husbandry and feeding programs, procedures to cope with the effects of fires, floods and droughts
- Develop, or assist with the development of, project plans and coordinate project logistics with clients and other stakeholders
- Perform in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis and consolidate results to provide meaningful conclusions and recommendations
- Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients; ensure needs are met and relationships grow and develop

Skills and Experience
- Bachelors degree in business, agriculture or other related field
- Experience working in an agriculture environment is preferred
- Working knowledge of farm enterprises, primary producer and/or agri-business is preferred
- Experience working in a consulting and/or professional services environment is considered an asset
- Experience or training in project management is considered an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
