Description

Hours of Work
- Shift work. The plant runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Daily Duties
- Loading and unloading trucks of raw and cleaned bulk grain
- Lead and execute product flow from raw material to cleaned grain
- Conduct product sampling and analysis, and maintain associated documentation
- Achieve high standards of quality control and customer specifications
- Operate equipment to maximize yield and efficiency
- Service and maintain equipment as required
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work area
- Some labourer duties when required such as shoveling materials


Skills and Abilities

- 1 to 2 years grain cleaning experience a definite asset
- Farm background is a must
- Mechanical skills a must
- Ability to work on ladders and catwalks
- Must not be afraid of heights
- Ability to multi-task and work on own initiative with minimum supervision
- Must have flexibility with hours of work ? night shifts are required
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Possess positive leadership skills
- Ability to work with other employees with a positive attitude
- Possess critical thinking, problem solving, and ability to work with others
- Continuous learning required
