Description

Neetah Construction LP is a Multi-Service Heavy Civil and Roadbuilding Construction and Maintenance Company. Neetah is 51% Indigenous partnership between the Des Nedhe Group, and the Magnorum Group (Formerly the Morsky Group). Neetah has grown from its inception to servicing multiple heavy civil projects throughout Saskatchewan and a full time complement of over 20 Employees.  We are seeking Two (2) - Heavy Civil Construction Foreperson in Saskatchewan (preference for 1 position for Regina/Moose Jaw) with Neetah Construction and its affiliated companies Western Infrastructure and Morsky Industrial Services, in a shared services environment.
Job Summary: The Heavy Civil Construction Foreperson is the operational expert responsible for a crew in the field operation of a technical discipline. They are a front-line leader, guiding and directing a multi-faceted team to meet or exceed crew production and quality goals while ensuring a safe work zone and are also expected to work and help in all areas as this is a working supervisor position.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Direct day to day tasks for the field crew to competently and effectively execute construction activities including but not limited to, Heavy Civil Construction, Water and Sewer Construction, Other Miscellaneous Earth moving work for surface prep activities, and to ensure field operators use equipment & machinery safely, and effectively.
Determine crew, machinery and material requirements necessary given vehicle capacities, traffic conditions as well as safety, quality, and schedule requirements. Helps maintain inventory levels and cycle counts as needed.
Coordinate with Project Superintendent and Safety Manager on Work Plans and Traffic Management/Control Plans to ensure traffic control devices are installed and positioned and traffic operations are in place to provide a safe work zone.
Qualifications:
+5 years of road maintenance and/or civil construction experience.
