Neetah Construction LP is a Multi-Service Heavy Civil and Roadbuilding Construction and Maintenance Company. Neetah is 51% Indigenous partnership between the Des Nedhe Group, and the Magnorum Group (Formerly the Morsky Group). Neetah has grown from its inception to servicing multiple heavy civil projects throughout Saskatchewan and a full time complement of over 20 Employees.
We are seeking One (1) Heavy Civil Construction Project Superintendent to support project opportunities with Neetah Construction and its affiliated companies Western Infrastructure and Morsky Industrial Services, in a shared services environment.
Job Summary: As the, Heavy Civil Construction Project Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing all Operational elements of Heavy Civil Construction, Water and Sewer Construction, Road and Highway Maintenance, and Other Miscellaneous Earth moving projects in Saskatchewan, working in collaboration with the Project Manager to deliver high quality projects on time and on budget.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Direct day to day tasks for crews which may include but be limited to crew movements, daily operations, traffic, trucking and procurement on highway maintenance/repair projects. This may include initial mobilization and set up of construction sites, scheduling and allocating personnel, equipment, and materials.
Manages and coordinates the daily and weekly activities of foremen, crew members and equipment as per the project plan schedule in an efficient manner. Sets performance and schedule goals and provides coaching and training as required.
Qualifications:
+10 years of experience in road and highway building and/or maintenance.
Background and knowledge of managing teams, equipment operation and maintenance, safety, quality control, materials management, and trucking.
Ability to work under tight production schedules and deadlines, with effective time-management.
