Neetah Construction LP is a Multi-Service Heavy Civil and Roadbuilding Construction and Maintenance Company. Neetah is 51% Indigenous partnership between the Des Nedhe Group, and the Magnorum Group (Formerly the Morsky Group). Neetah has grown from its inception to servicing multiple heavy civil projects throughout Saskatchewan and a full time complement of over 20 Employees. We are seeking Heavy Equipment Operators to support project opportunities with Neetah Construction and its affiliated companies Western Infrastructure and Morsky Industrial Services, in a shared services environment.
Job Summary: The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, rollers, graders, skid steer, backhoe loaders and other related equipment) used in the construction and maintenance of Heavy Civil Construction, Water and Sewer Maintenance, Roads and highways, as well as Other miscellaneous Earth moving & material handling activities. Promotes the safe use of this equipment and helps transport them to, and from the job site.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Promote the safe use of equipment, by performing daily pre and post operation inspections, preventive maintenance and reporting needed repairs/maintenance work to supervisor.
Operate heavy equipment to safely perform activities, such as Grading terrain, asphalt and chip seal application, hoisting large/heavy objects, digging trenches, excavating tree stumps, and sidewalks, sweeping and vacuuming streets, and maintaining the landscape as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience in Road construction, Maintenance work, Culvert repair and installation.
Willing, and able to work away from home for lengthy periods of time on different projects.
Willing, and able to work long hours, Overtime, and possible weekend work in various
weather conditions and in remote areas.
Ability to complete safety documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
