Description

Administrative Responsibilities
Take the initiative to establish personal, professional and team goals and objectives, as well as identify, develop, and improve upon work-related processes
Effectively problem-solve complex situations using sound judgement in a timely manner
Demonstrate a solid understanding, interpretation, and application of organizational policies and procedures
Prepare confidential and detailed correspondence, documents, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Effectively establish and maintain positive working relations with internal and external stakeholders
Manage priorities, deadlines and departmental workflow effectively and efficiently
Manage urgent and/or unexpected work issues in a competent, professional, calm and confidential manner
Lead a staff complement, assigning work and ensuring quality and timely outcomes
Lead, collaborate, and communicate with others, share responsibilities, and assist where necessary in helping the team to achieve successful outcomes
Maintain current professional skills relevant to department needs
Budgetary Responsibilities
Assume responsibility and accountability for effective budget tracking and administration for                  
department
Technical Responsibilities
Proficiently utilize and confidently lead use of computer software (e.g.  Microsoft Office, Excel, high-end demographic software, etc.) to meet department requirements
Remain current regarding technology and be willing to learn new software applications as required
Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent
