Responsibilities: The supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of Rendalyn Home, a home for young expectant mothers and young mothers with children. The mandate is to empower the clientele to make positive choices that will help lead them towards self-sufficiency while ensuring contract obligations are met.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education and/or previous experience working with youth;
Early childhood development education or experience;
Previous supervisory experience;
Knowledge of referral agencies;
Open minded and willing to learn;
Must pass YWCA Security Clearance with a successful vulnerable sector and criminal background check;
Caring and compassionate attitude;
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
Knowledge of community resources, supports and other agencies;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential;

Duties:
Responsible for the general day-to-day operation of Rendalyn Home;
Staff supervision, coaching and leadership;
Administrative duties as requested by the Manager;
Staff Schedule, ensuring proper 24/7 coverage of home;
Ensure homes are maintained in a safe, clean and orderly manner;
Statistical data and reporting;
All licensing and inspections, ensuring everything is up to code;
Purchasing of supplies (can be delegated);
Liaise with the Ministry of Social Services;
Ensure policies are adhered to as per contract with the Ministry of Social Services;
Statistical tracking and reporting;
Administrative support;
Other duties as requested;
Probation: Three Months
Applicants must reside in Saskatchewan.
