GROUND CREW FOR 2023 AERIAL SPRAYING SEASON
Are you interested in aviation or agriculture or the Aerial Application industry, this is a great way to see what it is all about!
We are currently accepting applications for ground crew positions for the 2023 spray season. Start May/June through September. Positions are available based in Kindersley Sask. Some daily travel to our other bases in West Central SK. Company vehicles are provided for such travel.
Duties include:
Fueling and loading aircraft with the correct types and amounts of crop care products with and without aircraft running. Understanding mix sheets & delivery procedures. Properly rinsing & recycling product containers.
Wash airplanes and windows as needed
Transporting products (driving, lifting, securing cargo, & unloading product).
Servicing operational support equipment, performing minor field repairs on equipment & minor aircraft servicing.
Providing support to pilots & communicating with customers.
Keeping a tidy work area. Yard and runway maintenance (mowing, tidying, garbage disposal, etc.)
Requirements:
Physically fit, ability to work long hours, quick learner, ability to work in a fast paced environment
Great customer service skills.
Class 5 Drivers License with a good drivers abstract, Class 3 or 1A a definite asset although not required, forklift experience an asset.
Must have own vehicle or own transportation to work.
General knowledge of farming practices an asset.
Some experience or knowledge of aircraft would be an asset.
Agricultural / Farm background would be an asset.
This job would be great for a summer student but is not limited to such.
