Role Overview
The Truckwash Technician is responsible for the routine washing of trailers and the transportation and care of PIC animals while working with other Truckwash and Production Technicians.  This position is based in Kipling, Saskatchewan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Follow the requirements and guidelines of the Companys Safety Program
Adhere to bio-security protocols
Abide by all company policies, procedures and guidelines as directed by farm leadership
Flexibility with a willingness to change plans according to the direction of farm leadership
Work as a team player by accomplishing daily department work requirements and farm goals
Assist in moving animals and maintaining efficient animal flows
Sanitize and wash multiple areas on the farm using high pressure equipment
Haul animals between Aurora sites
Load and shuttle sales/export animals to customer trucks
Wash internal trailers, slaughter trailers and/or sales trailers
Load animals on tri axle trailers
Maintain accurate and timely production information and records as required
Assist with maintaining truckwash, office cleanliness, and laundry duties
Adhere to the Company's animal care policies and procedures including: providing a physical environment that meets the animals needs, providing access to adequate water and high-quality feed, providing humane treatment of the animals, providing identification and appropriate treatment of animals in need of health care and following the guidelines for euthanasia
Responsible for compliance with all environmental laws and procedures as well as report all environmental issues immediately to supervisor
Read and understand the company's emergency notification process and how it applies to their specific worksite
Responsible for understanding all safety requirements of the job and performing the job in compliance with those safety requirements
Daily animal husbandry tasks
A1 License preferred but not a requirement to apply
