Essential Job Functions
1. Nesting parts for Laser cutting using software
2. Schedule nesting based on work order dates
3. Familiar with steel sheet materials
4. Maximize sheet utilization and minimize waste
5. Organize drawings and folders
6. Practice good housekeeping to keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
7. Follow proper speeds and feeds to maximize machine and cutting tool efficiency
8. Perform visual and dimensional inspection of products as required
9. Interpret drawings and bills of materials from the design department
10. Keep track of material usages and work with Inventory Control Cycle Counters
11. Other duties as assigned
