This position is for a Summer Student only.
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 6:45am-5:15pm. Work hours are subject to change.
Essential Functions
1. Diagnose problems and repairs shop equipment including machines, tools and forklifts. May require welding
2. Respond to work order requests
3. Perform preventive maintenance on company vehicles, machines and tools
4. Perform facility maintenance/janitorial including air conditioning, yard maintenance, snow removal, repair water and sewer lines, and move/install/maintain office equipment
5. Perform minor electrical tasks
6. Review, monitor and maintain daily/monthly inspection sheets on company equipment and tools
7. Assist with plant layout changes. Coordinate equipment changes and utility hook-ups
8. Perform Lockout/Tagout tasks as needed and complete required documentation
