TOMMY GUNS ORIGINAL BARBERSHOP is in need of BARBER
NOC Code: 63210

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Cut and trim hair according to clients instructions and/or current hairstyles.
2. Shape, trim and shape clients beards and moustaches using scissors/clippers.
3. Recommend cuts, treatments, and other services to clients.
4. Shampoo hair and provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening, tinting or scalp conditioning massage
5. Inquire from clients about hair care preferences and suggest appropriate resolutions to hair and scalp issues.
6. Answer clients questions regarding barbershops facilities and hair care products.
7. Keep work station, tools, and equipment sanitized and in good condition.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
1. Knowledge of current hairstyles and trends.
2. Knowledge of retail products carried in-store
3. Attention to detail
4. Good communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
5. Organizational and time-management abilities
6. The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
7. Good customer service

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1. Secondary education completion is required
2. Minimum of two years related work experience

WORKING HOURS: Work schedule varies starting from 9:00am to 9pm; 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week

WAGE AND BENEFITS: $16.00/ hour, Benefits through Sunlife (Health and Dental Insurance) after 6 months of probationary period
