Queen City Excavating is a growing civil construction contractor, with a focus on underground piped utilities, and general earthworks. We have an excellent reputation in our industry with experience across Residential, Commercial, and Industrial sectors.

We are a small business by definition and have a very family orientated vibe. We strive to maintain a healthy work - life balance by not overworking our people during the busy season.  

We are seeking Intermediate to advanced Heavy Equipment Operators and Truck Drivers for our upcoming season, with potential to stay on full time, depending on performance and work load.  We are seeking individuals who are self motivated and are able to work under minimal oversight. We want to give all our people the chance to succeed in work without a dictator type management style.  

We are looking for Operators with experience on front end loaders, skid steer loaders, track hoes, articulating dump trucks & bull dozer.

A Saskatchewan 1A, 3A, or 5G license would be an asset, but not a requirement. A Saskatchewan class 5 license is mandatory.

Industry recognized operator tickets would be an asset, but not required. We value operator capabilities over industry tickets. Queen City is a certified Powered Mobile Equipment Evaluator with the Saskatchewan Heavy Construction Association.

We are also seeking a qualified heavy haul, low bed driver, to assist our growth into the heavy haul sector.

Safety is of utmost importance to Queen City and must be at the forefront of anyone joining our growing team of construction professionals. We are a COR certified company with the Saskatchewan Heavy Construction Association.

The work we deliver is primarily in Regina and surrounding areas, with the occasional out of town project.
