You will be responsible for the instruction of Learn to Skateboard lessons to teach children, ages 3 - 12, how to skateboard. Must have excellent skateboarding skills, the ability to demonstrate drills, and the ability to communicate with children ages 3 - 12. Periodical communication with parents to transmit feedback.
Must be extremely outgoing and thoroughly enjoy interacting with young children. Problem solving and strong communication skills are a must.
Ability to supervise volunteer assistants and provide instruction to assistants regarding drills.
Ability to multi-task to meet the needs of the participants with sensitivity to interact with diverse patrons. Prepare lesson plans to introduce new skills.
The lessons will run from late May to early July. Saturdays and/or Sundays depending on instructor availability and class registrations.
