Description

Maintaining computer and manual records of the trucks mileage, use of fuel and other repair expenses
Co-ordinating the activities of the truck drivers using proper communication and dispatching equipments
Transmitting proper information and instructions to co-ordinate the truck drivers activities
Dispatching the drivers according to written schedules and work orders as per the instructions
Advising the drivers of any problems regarding the truck, route or delivery
Operating radio equipments to communicate between different truck drivers specially when on highways and remote areas
Monitoring the trucks workloads and locations and report any incidences to the manager
