Description

Borderland Co-op is looking for two Assistant Managers to join our team at our Whitewood Dairy Queen that is expected to be opening soon We are seeking a self-motivated, ambitious, and energetic individual who will be involved in recruitment, training and development and performance management.

What you'll do:
Plan, organize, direct, support and evaluate daily operations. Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms. Assist with performance reviews. Assist with organizing and maintaining inventory. Participate in marketing plans and implementation. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Assist with recruitment, training and supervision of staff. Demonstrate day to day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen our Coops
vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety.
Lead a culture of safety through the adherence to company standards for health & safety, loss prevention and environmental due diligence.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:
-Possess 1-3 years of experience in a restaurant environment, including supervisory or management experience.
-High level of integrity and accountability.
-Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays where necessary.
-Ability to fulfil physical job requirements including manual labour.
-Strong leadership skills that align with DQs values.
-Ability to foster a culture focused on safety, innovation, and teamwork.
