The Psychologist of Clinical Assessment and Resource Services provides professional leadership in the development and delivery of clinical services. The primary role of the psychologist is to conduct psychological assessments, disseminate results of assessments accordingly, and develop treatment recommendations that are evidence-based and best practice.
Duties and Responsibilities
Services
* Conduct psychological assessments with participants according to best practice, diagnose if required, and disseminate results of assessments accordingly (i.e. to referring personnel, clinical directors, educational personnel, referring agencies, and the legal parent, if appropriate).
* Research, develop, and implement treatment and/or programming that are evidence-based and best practice.
* Select, administer, and interpret psychological tests and write psychological assessment reports based on best practice.
* Facilitate and/or provide intervention services in the home, school, and/or community.
* Manage a clinical caseload as assigned.
* Develop and deliver specialized training sessions to residential and educational/vocational teams.
* Provide workshops, seminars, and professional education on relevant mental health topics.
* Collaborate and consult with internal and external stakeholders including families, community agencies, and referring agencies.
* Maintain file upkeep, document participant sessions and contacts, and monitor caseload treatment efficacy using outcomes to evaluate and implement changes accordingly. Complete reports and documentation in a clear, accurate, and timely manner.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
