The Survey Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the completion of land surveys for designated projects as directed by the Crew Chief or Project Manager using GPS or a Total Station.

Required Competencies
Surveying experience in Saskatchewan
Experience assisting with completing surveys for:
oSubdivision Surveys
oRight of Way Surveys (Feature Plans, Highway/Road Plans)
oTopographic Surveys
oReal Property Reports and Boundary Staking Surveys
oGeodetic Control Network Surveys
Planning and Organization skills
Team Work
Communication (written and verbal),
Accountability and Dependability, and the ability to follow directions
Development and Continual Learning
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and procedures.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
Computer literacy, including effective working skills of Microsoft Office, Adobe products, and company specific programs (Slack, Trello, Salesforce, and others)
Ethics and Integrity
Valid Drivers License

Job Duties
Assist with field surveys for the development of survey plans.
Complete expense reports and timesheets
Operate & Maintain Equipment (ATV, GPS, Total Station)
Follow company rules, regulations and policies regarding standard operating procedures and the 20/20 safety manual
Assist in the training and development of junior team-members.
Perform other duties as required.
Work Conditions
Interacts with management, colleagues, clients, & government agencies/personnel.
Travel as required.
Overtime as required.
Working outdoors
Walking and carrying heavy loads
