Description

The Behaviour Support Therapist conducts functional behavioral assessments and provides positive behavior supports for people who use our services to produce meaningful change and improvements in their overall quality of life. Behavior treatment programs and protocols focus on accelerating positive behaviors and reducing inappropriate or maladaptive behaviors. These objectives are accomplished by providing support to staff teams through consultation, staff training, program revisions and reviews, and through program implementation and monitoring. Requirements: Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Drivers License and access to reliable transportation Documentation of COVID-19 vaccinationExperience:2yrs(1yr previous work experience, 1yr on the job)Education: University Degree, B.A. (Psychology or Applied Behavior Analysis)Professional Designations: Mandatory membership in Saskatchewan ABA or ONTABA, BC ABA, RBT, or Masters in a related field. Preferred: BCBA. Special Training/Certification: Quality Behavior Competency Training, Crisis Management(NCI, Safe Management, PART), Emergency First Aid and CPR. Skills and Required Training: Computer skills, Analysis skills, Training skills, Prioritization, Attention to detail, Problem solving skills, Interpersonal skills.
