Professional Cooking certificate
Experience
Previous: Six (6) months previous experience working in a food services operation including cooking experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Basic computer skills
Communication skills
Food  Safe  Certificate
Valid drivers license, where required by the job

Health Care Cook Certificate is an educational alternative that will equally meet the education requirements.

   An interview may be requested.
   The successful candidate shall be required to provide a satisfactory criminal record check including a vulnerable sector query as a condition of employment.
   Part Time Employees:  scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period.
    Professional Cooking certificate; or Institutional Cooking certificate; or Saskatchewan Apprenticeship Cook Level 1; or Food and Nutrition Management Diploma; or Cook  Online Upgrading Pilot or an equivalent program
    May consider hiring individuals without the required qualifications who will be required to complete the Professional Cooking certificate or an equivalent program as identified above within four (4) years at his/her own expense as a condition of employment.  Unqualified applicants MUST meet the following criteria:
-Food Safe certificate
-Previous experience working in a food services operation is prefe
