The Human Resources (HR) Management section of SRCs Organizational Effectiveness Division has a career opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist.
Accountabilities
Participate in recruitment activities, onboarding, and orientation of new employees
Administer SRCs benefits program, including insured health benefits, the retirement and savings program and other wellness benefits
Maintain the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and related records
Work in a variety of HR functional areas and participate in special projects
Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Human Resources or a combination of education and related experience working as a member of a HR team
A good understanding of HR principles, best practices, and applicable employment legislation
A Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation or working towards your designation is an asset
Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with data requiring close attention to detail
A team player able to develop strong collaborative working relationships
Results-oriented with effective time management skills
A commitment to professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality
