Description

Reporting to the jet boring system supervisor, you will be responsible for the operation of the jet boring system (JBS) at the Cigar Lake operation. You will organize and perform daily operator care rounds on the JBS and all other related equipment. Your duties will include monitoring, troubleshooting and continuously improving the JBS, while ensuring safe and efficient uranium ore production.

Requirements of the position:
- Minimum grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- At least three years of industrial experience
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Strong ability to use and navigate automated mining technology and computer software
- Significant work experience in drilling and underground mining
- Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft

Assets:
- Background in the operation of complex drilling machinery
- Work experience with navigating and operating DCS systems
- Familiarity with IOS systems
