The Family Violence Prevention Worker is responsible for developing a proactive approach to connecting individuals experiencing family violence to health and social care support and services. This position will work with the Child and Youth Team, CWP Team and others in their concerted efforts and proactive approaches in promoting family wellness and addressing family violence in the community.
The Family Violence Prevention Worker is an integral part of the health care team that provides crisis support services in the community. The incumbent is responsible for providing targeted interagency advocacy to assist the families and children in achieving the goals in their case plans.
