Qualifications:
Must be a good role model and demonstrate and practice a healthy lifestyle;
Must have experience working with teenage youth;
Must be flexible and willing to learn;
Must have First Aid and CPR-C certificate;
Have knowledge with Microsoft word and Excel spreadsheet;
Applicant must maintain strict confidentiality and maintain building security;
All applicants must have a valid Saskatchewan drivers license;
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with Youth, Staff and Management;
Ability to express ideas and concepts effectively in an oral and written form;
Must pass YWCA Security Clearance with a successful vulnerable sector and criminal background check;
Caring and compassionate attitude;

Help identify career goals, barriers to employment and assist youth with such matters as job readiness skills, job search strategies, writing resumes and preparing for job interviews;
Maintain a safe home environment;
Prep and cook for 10 or more youth;
Maintain an accurate daily log on day to day business;
Plan fun and educational activities for teenage youth;
Support and guide the residents, teaching them responsibility as they transition into adulthood/independence;
Must be a good role model to the youth/clients;
Maintain building security;
Ensure major housecleaning duties are complete as well as normal everyday cleaning/chores;
Provide support and advocacy to the residents and clients of the YWCA;
Provide feedback to the Manager on major issues and incident reports;
Attend to crises as they arise during non-office hours.
Maintain confidentiality;
Any other duties as requested;
Probation: Three Months
