The foundation of Life Promotion Work is culture and tradition. To promote wholistic wellness and foster a sense of Hope, Belonging, Meaning and Purpose, this position will utilize the strengths-based Indigenous Wellness Model and the AFN Mental Health Continuum Framework to develop and implement life promotion initiatives in community in collaboration with other health and social services team members.
The scope of this position also includes being part of the Health Department Crisis Response and Management Team. The incumbent must have the ability to be part of the on-call roster.
