Description

SEASONAL FULL TIME SOCIAL SERVICES PLANNER: 35 hours per week for 8 weeks
The Seasonal Social Services Planner plans, coordinates, builds partnerships, and assesses activities that meet the needs and interests of the people who use our services recognizing and encouraging self-determination through various networking, recreational, and community functions. Recognizing peoples right to self-determination and valuing their unique gifts while encouraging continuous growth and development is only a part of what makes this a rewarding career.
Requirements: Funded through Service Canada, the successful applicant will work 35 hours a week for 8 weeks, varying shifts.
Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
Access to reliable transportation

Preferred: 0-3 months experience. If this job is funded through the Canada Summer Jobs program, the person must meet the eligibility criteria of the program. Current enrollment or graduation from a related field of study including: recreation and Community Development or Developmental Social Services Worker.
