The Prince Albert Grand Council is now accepting resumes for the Program Manager for the PAGC Family Treatment Centre.
The Program Manager will work within a multi-disciplinary team in training/group facilitation, community/program development and outreach/follow-up support services. This position will also show a commitment to positive personal growth by demonstrating respect, kindness and compassion.
Knowledge and Skills:
PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION: the effective and efficient administration and day-to-day operation of the Program and for the development and provision of Family Treatment Addiction services
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT: approving and recommending to the Health Programs annual budget requirements and revenues, the day-to-day administration of the Program?s annual approved budget including such personal approval of expenditures as delegated
CAPITAL RESOURCES: overseeing the prudent use of capital resources, assessing capital needs and budgeting for routine maintenance and repairs; budgeting for capital expenditures
Establishes a yearly plan to create achievements in keeping with the overall mission and strategic plan
Identify and determine addiction treatment needs of the First Nations within the Prince Albert Grand Council, NNADAP Project Coordinators
Ensure the achievement of the treatment program objectives by monitoring overall planning, delivering and evaluation of activities in the Centre
Qualifications:
Five (5) years continuous sobriety/abstainers required by organizational policy
Health or Social related Degree or equivalent in a related area.
Willingness to work with youth and young adults.
Background knowledge and skills of addictions /life-skills impacting the holistic wellness of youth and families.
Ability to work in a non- judgmental & anti-discriminatory way and keep professional boundaries.
Fluency in English a requirement. Fluent in a First Nation language with the Prince Albert Grand Council area an asset.
