Pioneer Solar & Renewables Inc. is currently seeking a skilled Website Developer to join our growing team. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated professional with a strong background in building and maintaining websites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a seamless user experience, ensuring optimal website performance, and integrating necessary e-commerce functionalities.

Pioneer Solar & Renewables Inc. is a growing renewable energy business accelerating the electrification in Western Canada and helping home and building owners achieve net zero while saving on their energy bills. We are a growing company and pride ourselves on our top-quality services while staying on top of some of the industry's most technologically advanced energy projects. We develop solar PV, energy storage, and renewable projects on all scales; from residential to large-scale commercial purposes.


Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain our e-commerce website using cutting-edge web technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
- Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and user-friendly web pages that align with the company's branding guidelines.
- Implement and manage e-commerce functionalities, including product catalogs, shopping carts, payment gateways, and order management systems.
- Ensure optimal website performance by optimizing loading speeds, responsiveness, and overall functionality.
- Work closely with the marketing team to optimize the site for SEO and implement necessary tracking and analytics tools.
- Conduct regular testing to identify and fix bugs and ensure the website runs smoothly across all browsers and devices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the website's performance and user experience.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for any website-related issues.
