Job Description
Reporting to the Transport Manager and site Project Manager/Foreman, the 1A Truck Driver will be responsible for loading, hauling, and dumping of asphalt materials and heavy equipment to a variety of locations across Saskatchewan.  We are looking for an experienced truck driver who can take initiative, work independently, and has strong communication skills. Our ideal candidate has 1-2 years experience using their 1A license and is comfortable backing up semi tractor-trailer units in tight spaces. This position follows a 10 and 4 schedule, and requires regular overtime and travel.

Qualifications
1A Drivers License
Have a clean drivers abstract
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication skills
Comfortable backing up semi tractor-trailer units in tight spaces
Willingness to travel and overnight
1-2 years experience (preferred)
Experience operating heavy equipment is an asset

Responsibilities
Hauling hot asphalt, aggregate, and/or heavy equipment
Perform regular truck/worksite inspections and perform general maintenance
Assist with setting up and tearing down Asphalt Plants
Participate in regular safety meetings and engage with the company safety culture
Perform general labour activities as needed
