Description

We are looking for a Maintenance Administrator to complement our team. Working in a high-tech software development office, the right candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day technical and maintenance work necessary to keep our staff productive. You will facilitate not only the necessities of a functioning office, but also Vendastas workplace environment

Responsibilities
Provide the primary maintenance and repairs for all office floors in our main Saskatoon office including the upkeep of our rooftop patio.
Assist with building renovation projects by communicating and coordinating with outside sub-contractors on project bids.
Assist and maintain an overall Safety Management System (SMS) for the office.
Maintain inventory of and order supplies, equipment, and furniture as needed.
Diagnose & correct a variety of day-to-day problems (hardware, mechanical, building maintenance) and provide desktop support for maintenance tickets.
Order and maintain an inventory of workspace-related furniture, assembling new items as necessary and assisting with the execution of employee workspace moves.
Work closely with our IT department to ensure the smooth functioning of office technology.
Be a knowledgeable point of contact for outside parties working with us on technical and maintenance issues throughout the building.

Qualifications
Minimum 2 years related experience.
Mechanical and electrical aptitude and a general understanding of parts, equipment, tools, drawings, etc.
Skill with operating power tools.
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Very well organized and attentive to detail.
Very strong computer skills.
Drivers license and vehicle.
Experience in entry level IT (considered an asset)
