Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all industrial machinery, mechanical equipment, and hand tools to support manufacturing operations and maximize efficiency.  In addition, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the building, facilities, and grounds per property owner and QMP management team directive.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
-    Completion or enrollment in a four- year Millwright or Industrial Mechanic apprenticeship program.
-    Two years of work experience in an applicable trade or three years of experience completing maintenance duties is preferred.
-    Proficient with common industrial mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic components
-    Welding experience is an asset.

QMP offers a competitive wage program.  This position pays $22.00 - $35.00 per hour based on skills and experience.  We also offer a comprehensive benefit plan as well as a matched pension plan and safety shoe allowance.  QMP provides all required PPE except for footwear and offers a positive and stable work environment.
QMP is located on the northwest side of Saskatoon on the corner of Capital Circle W & Auction Mart Rd.  This is outside of the city transit routes and personal transportation is required.
