Position Overview:
The janitorial position will be responsible for maintaining a clean and presentable building by completing various cleaning tasks.
Position Details:
Clean Lobbies, restrooms, offices, walkways, ramps, and stairways of buildings
Sweep, scrub, wash, and polish floors and clean rugs
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
Stripping and waxing floors
Disinfecting surfaces
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting of up to 50lbs.
Empty waste and transport to disposal area
Replenish bathroom supplies.
Must attend all safety meetings as scheduled.
Laundry services as instructed by supervisor.
Other duties as assigned.
Monitor access gates and parking lots.
Ensure the protection, assets and property.
Conduct preventative surveillance rounds according to established procedures.
Prevent fire, theft, and vandalism.
Enforce the regulations in effect at the premises.
Write daily reports and incident reports.

Qualifications:
Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment or snow removal equipment.
Ability to work independently.
Understanding of health and safety regulations
Problem solving Skills.
Ability to Multitask
Must pass a Drug and Alcohol test.
Experience working in a similar cleaning or janitorial role is considered an asset.
Valid security guard license
First aid
Proactive, attention to detail, self-motivated, team player
Above average computer skills, written and oral communication.
High school diploma or equivalent
Drivers license and access to a vehicle
Previous experience in security (asset)
