Saskatchewan Highways and Infrastructure, Design and Construction Division, Bridge Branch, has an opening for a Trades Helper with the Moose Jaw Bridge Crew.
Candidates must be able to operate and maintain motor equipment (tandem and loader) used for maintenance and construction of bridges on the provincial highway system. Candidates must be able to assist in carpentry work, steel erection, welding, and concrete work. The candidate will be expected to perform other duties such as directing traffic, installing signs, and manual labour.
You must be able to perform physically-demanding work in all types of weather conditions. You must be able to travel throughout the province and willing to be away from headquarters for extended periods of time. You will also be required to work extended hours as required.
To qualify for this position, you must hold a valid Class 1A license.
