Do you have experience managing a team and looking for a new opportunity to work with a company that is a household name in many kitchens within SK?  Prairie Meats is hiring a full-time Food Production Supervisor for our 2450 Dudley St facility that will work directly with managers and employees to ensure the quantity and quality of food produced meet requirements.  The position is four  10 hour shifts during the week and can start as early as 5 a.m. The incumbent will support managers and oversee their team to establish, maintain and document productivity standards; develop programs to achieve objectives; supervise employees and provide support to them; use equipment to produce products; produce optimum levels of stock; and assist with developing production plan. Safety is important so equipment is to be used according to directions; food safety principles are to be followed; and active participation in weekly safety meetings is required.  You must be very organized; able to prioritize tasks; able to work independently while following instructions; be an effective communicator; be an active team player who works to achieve set out goals and contribute to a positive workplace; and have an ability to perform physically demanding tasks.  1 to 3 years of experience working in fast-paced food production environment and previous supervisory experience are required.
