Job Description: The Registered Nurse in IPAC will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of Infection Control in SHA facilities. The Registered Nurse is responsible for promoting the Mission, Vision and Values of the Sunrise Health Region through provisions of safe quality nursing care to clients.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Certification in Infection Control (CIC) or equivalent, or required to obtain within 3 years of employment
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Experience
Must have recent experience in infection control, communicable disease tracking and investigative processes.
Other Information

Note:  This position is open to all SUN members within the bargaining unit as per Article 27.05 of the SUN Collective Bargaining Agreement, however first preference will be given to employees of Sunrise Health Region.

He/she is responsible to the Manager of Infection Prevention And Control - Integrated Rural.

Infection Control Education, Experience and Certification would be an asset.

224.00 hours per 6 week rotation: 28 shifts of 8.00 hours
