Facility: MARYFIELD CLINIC
Job Description: Provide primary health care services to the community. The Nurse Practitioner reports to the Primary Health Care Manager. As part of the multidisciplinary team responsibilities include the provision of primary health care services to individuals and specific client groups in accordance with evidence based knowledge. This role includes clinical practice, consultation and collaboration with other health care professionals, education, leadership, health promotion and protection, disease and injury prevention, chronic disease management and prevention, provision of supportive, instructive, treatment and emergency services.
Required Qualifications

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Registered Nurse - Nurse Practitioner Masters Program
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Experience
Minimum of three (3) years experience working as a Registered Nurse, with experience as RN (NP) in a Primary Health Care setting preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position
Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships and communication with other health care professionals
Ability to make decisions, which must include coordination of staffing, and/or patient care, and/or coordination of equipment
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice
Computer skills in such programs as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
