Water Security Agency (WSA) is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the Hydrometrics team as Supervisor Hydrometric Infrastructure in our Moose Jaw office, Regina, Saskatoon, Nipawin or North Battleford, SK location.

Reporting to the Manager, Hydrometrics, an employee in this job will supervise the provincial hydrometric infrastructure management program involving construction, operations, and maintenance activities.  In addition, this employee will provide technical support and expertise for the coordination of the provincial Hydrometric field monitoring activities and, in consultation with the Program Manager, will coordinate Occupational Health and Safety for the Hydrometric Program.

This position will Supervise technical support and coordination services for the hydrometric infrastructure management program including preparing, scheduling, implementing/monitoring related activity plans and schedules to ensure hydrometric infrastructure works are compliant with established engineering practices and procedures.  This position will also undertake and/or supervise hydrometric infrastructure O&M Activities to ensure the hydrometric infrastructure are maintained.

The successful candidate will have a Diploma in Engineering Technology or Water Resources Technology or a similar technical discipline and 7 years experience plus have their certification with Technology Professionals Saskatchewan (formerly SASTT) as as an Applied Science Technologist (A.Sc.T.)
