Description

Looking for a housekeeper with cooking skills to manage the cleanliness and care of clients private residence and prepare meals and snacks as per individual dietary requirements.

Responsibilities

Cleaning:

- General cleaning and maintenance including vacuuming, dusting, mopping floors, cleaning appliances, etc
- Maintenance of furniture and delicate surfaces
- Waste and recycling management
- Seasonal in-depth cleaning
- Organizational duties when required

Laundry:

- Washing and ironing clothes, towels, and bedding
- Putting laundry away / making beds

Household Management/Organization:

- Water indoor plants when clients are away
- Providing food and water for the pet
- Answer door, receive deliveries and deal with service providers as required
- Manage an inventory of household and toiletry items
- Manage pantry, fridges, and freezers and discard out-of-date products
- Grocery shopping

Meal Preparation/Cooking:

- Menu planning for 3 to 4 people as per clients preferences, specifications, and dietary needs
- Cooking all meals and bulk preparing meals for client to cook
- Occasional larger meals for entertaining guests
- Package and label meals and snacks

Requirements
Own vehicle, valid license, and insurance
Must speak and write English
Ability to work independently
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Detail-oriented and thorough
Honest, trustworthy, and discreet
Adhere to food safety standards at all times
Able to lift up to 20 lbs and perform the physical demand of cleaning an entire home
Willing to sign a confidentiality agreement
Good with pets/no pet allergies

Part-time, permanent position
Monday to Friday excluding holidays
Approximately 20 to 25 hours per week
