Applications are invited for a temporary 1.0 FTE Principal at Grenfell Community High School commencing August 29, 2023 and ending June 28, 2024.
Grenfell Community High School offers Grade 7 to 12 programming to an enrolment of approximately 142 students. There is a professional staff compliment of 7.75 FTE teachers and 5.94 FTE support staff. Grenfell Community High School provides a strong academic program and supports students to become caring, competent, responsible citizens who value education and life-long learning. Grenfell is located 125km east of Regina.
Assignment:
100% administrative duties
Salary and benefits is outlined in the STF Provincial Collective Bargaining agreement. Current administrative allowance is approximately $18,376.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Education Degree
Valid Saskatchewan Professional A teaching certificate
Masters degree in a related field, or a willingness to obtain as a condition of employment
Experience in a school administration role is considered an asset
Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate:
A drive to enthusiastically guide and empower staff, students, and community to achieve educational excellence
Leadership in delivering high quality educational programs and services that encompass all aspects of effective schools
Management skills to ensure safe, orderly, accountable school operations
An understanding of the diverse needs of students and knowledge of strategies to support every student.
Ability to align efforts at the school level to support the School Divisions strategic direction
