The Business and Program Development Consultant will develop and nurture an effective network of business and industry contacts in order to successfully identify program opportunities, fundraising supports and partnerships. Through an inclusive needs assessment process, the Consultant identifies programming opportunities to meet both current and future labour market needs.
Education and Experience
The minimum relevant knowledge or formal training essential to perform the functions of this position is a relevant bachelors degree. This education would typically provide knowledge in budgeting, needs assessment, written and oral communications, analytical and research skills.
Minimum three to four years recent and relevant business development, relationship building, sales, problem solving, and risk-taking experiences.
A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
Other Requirements
Must be willing to work field hours, which involves working according to the demands of the position including evenings and weekends when necessary.
Frequent travel will be required as majority of work is completed outside of the office; most travel is within the geographical area; occasional overnight stays may be necessary. Some provincial travel may be required.
Must possess a valid Saskatchewan Drivers License.
Satisfactory Criminal Record Check is required.
