Description

One position will be at our Grade 8-12 School (Holy Rosary High School) for a work week of Monday to Friday approximately 30 hours per week (may include some after school). The School Counselor provides services to students who require assistance coping with a variety of personal and social problems as well as some proactive interactions/programs within classrooms.  
One position will be at our Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 2 ECEC (Mother Teresa Early Childhood Education Center.)  The work week for this position is Monday to Friday, approximately 15 hours per week.  The School Counselor provides services to students, and possibly parents, who require assistance coping with a variety of personal and social problems as well as supporting proactive interactions/programs within classrooms.  

The ideal candidate(s) will have a degree in social work (or similar credentials), be self-motivated and have previously demonstrated interpersonal/communication skills.  The successful candidate must be able to work closely with staff, in a school setting.  He or she must interact effectively with various human agencies and, when deemed appropriate, coordinate case conferences involving teachers, parents, and students.
