The Role

Source and recruit a team of Agronomic Technical Consultants
Devise and adapt ATC territories
Create and maintain relationships and commercial agreements with ag retailers to support brand awareness
Manage distribution activity, retailer relations, inventory quantities and cash collections
Announce and deploy marketing campaigns
Oversee ATC initiated field trials and seasonal crop tours
Monitor mandated Business Unit requirements including CRM data input
Conduct ongoing training and performance reviews
Seek out new opportunities and ideas for process improvement

The Ideal Candidate  

Academic background in Agronomy and/or Business
Experience with achieving sales targets and market share growth
Demonstrated success in managing a team of sales reps
Experience with negotiating sales terms/agreements
Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
Self motivated with the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks efficiently in a highly autonomous role
Organized, detail oriented and timely in the completion of administrative protocols, sales reports and data collection
An entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for the agriculture industry
Possession of a valid drivers license
