Facility: VICTORIA HOSPITAL
Job Description: Reporting to the Primary Healthcare Manager - Therapies, this position provides a clinical role within the department and is concerned with the rehabilitation of patients of all ages.  The Physical Therapist conducts therapy assessments and treatments according to referrals and established standards of practice and in accordance with the mission vision and values of the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to work independently to plan and organize work load demands
Communication skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Interpersonal skills
Leadership skills
Organizational skills
Positive approach and good listening skills to deal with challenging situations with empathy and sincerity
Other Information

Eligible for CPA Registration

112 hours of work in 3-week rotation

Shifts (days, evenings, nights) including actual hours, date of commencement and temporary end dates are for informational purpose only and may be subject to change.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member. The CRC must be dated within the past six (6) months and be satisfactory to the SHA.
