Position Summary
Reporting to the Coordinator of Transit Fleet Maintenance, this position supervises and directs all activities and staff related to the delivery of comprehensive maintenance programs for the corporations fleet of transit buses. A key requirement of this position is supervising and directing resources in order to maximize the level of safe, efficient, and effective delivery of bus maintenance services. This includes preventative maintenance, breakdowns/ accident repairs, washing/cleaning, and fueling.

Full supervisory responsibilities are exercised over applicable staff.
Education & Experience
Completion of Journeymans Certificate in Heavy Duty Repair or Truck and Transport Repair.
Completion of Achievement in Business Competencies (Blue Seal) Program
Three (3) to five (5) years experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty diesel equipment and gasoline equipment, heavy-duty automatic transmissions and related accessories of electric, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic nature. Some knowledge of plumbing, heating, and electrical procedures is required. Supervisory experience is required.
Working/Other Conditions
Valid Saskatchewan Drivers License with Air Brake Endorsement.
Note: May be required to work varying day/evening shifts and weekends.
