Leeville Construction is looking for a Project Manager
This full-time position offers company benefits and the opportunity to be part of the continued growth of the company. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Position located in our Swift Current office Frontier Builders.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years experience working in estimating and project management
Engineering/construction/drafting/journeyman carpenter background
Knowledge of building regulations and Occupational Health and Safety
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written in English
Strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational abilities
Computer literacy and ability to easily pick up new technologies
Critical thinker with strong analytical skills
Strong attention to detail
Computer Skills - MS Office, MS Project, Bluebeam
Valid drivers licence
Responsibilities:
Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
Negotiate contracts with subtrades and vendors
Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
Utilize quantity take-off procedures
Determine necessary resources per project with attention to budgetary limitations
Prepare and maintain directory of supplies and trade contractors
Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
Prepare and review purchase orders, contracts and other documents
Compile monthly project information and present reports
Monitor budget and adjust contract expenditures
Research and keep up to date with construction trends, costs, and organizational needs
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Other tasks as assigned by Management
